The Acting Gym

Acting Gym "Making a Scene"
This on-going class concentrates on working with scripts. It is designed for the intermediate/advanced actor who wants to move on to the next stage in their training. Through the use of games, improvisation and in-depth scene study, actors will learn how to use objectives, tactics, moments before, point of view, and emotional fullness to make bold choices on the stage.
Characterization, voice and movement are also explored in this term. Twice a year we present an evening of scenes, improvisations and monologues to an audience of family and friends which we call “Making a Scene.”
6:30 - 8:30p; Mondays, February 8 - April 5, 2010
Course Duration: 8 classes
