Drama Club Kids having fun
The nexStage Drama Club is for children ages 5-16. These after-school programs meet once a week for 12 weeks. We have fall and spring sessions. At the end of each session, the students get to showcase their new skills in a fully staged public performance at the nexStage Theater.
Drama Club Kids (ages 5-8) meet on Wednesdays from 3:00pm-4:00pm
Drama Club Juniors (ages 9-11) meet on Tuesdays from 3:00pm-4:00pm
Drama Club Seniors (ages 12-16) meet on Tuesdays from 4:15pm-5:15pm

Summer Stages

Summer Stages "The Sensational Sixties"
The nexStage is pleased to continue offering this popular three-week day camp. This program focuses on giving students the opportunity to learn firsthand that there is a place for everyone in the performing arts. The children will participate in classes including: acting, improvisation, art, stage combat, dance and music. The three-weeks culminate in an evening performance for family and friends at the nexStage.

The Shakespeare Studio

This is a two-week day camp for teenagers and college-age students taught by professional actors and directors brought in for our Sun Valley Shakespeare Festival. The students are taught speech, voice, movement, text analysis and character development. This program culminates in a performance of an abridged Shakespeare play in the festival.
